Education

Conscious Cuts teaches hair professionals how to cut with intention. Our curriculum breaks down the fundamental knowledge behind haircutting—so you understand when, where, and why techniques are applied, allowing you to tailor every haircut to your client’s individual features. The system is simple, practical, and easy to understand, without sacrificing depth or precision.We offer one-on-one sessions, group classes, and full barber and salon education, all taught by Taylor Chaser. Before each class, students complete a pre-assessment so the education can be fully customized. From there, a tailored lesson plan is created to focus on the exact areas that will move your work forward.One on OnePrior to class the student will complete a pre-assessment so that the curriculum can be customized.We will begin with a powerpoint to dive deep into theory.We will then complete a haircut from start to finish, including the consultation, blueprint, precision cutting, refinement and personalization, product knowledge, and styling. We will then draw up a head sheet diagram so you can remember the techniques.It is up to the student whether we work on a live model or a mannequin. Formerly the owner of a five-star men's salon in Chicago, Taylor's approach centers on conscious cutting-- haircuts designed through thoughtful consultation, tailored shapes to flatter the hair texture, density, face shape, and personal style. Every service includes a relaxing shampoo, product knowledge, precision haircutting, and professional styling. All stylists are personally trained by Taylor to ensure consistency, refinement, and exceptional results. This is men's grooming at it's highest level.
